About KVPY Exam
The candidates, who appeared in KVPY exam can check the result onthe official website of KVPY. The result for all the streams will be released by the exam conducting authority. The qualified candidates need to appear for the interview round for the final selection of fellowship. Final merit list will be preparedbased on theperformance of the candidates in aptitude test and in interview. The weightage for merit list calculation will be divided as 75% weightage will be given for aptitude test and 25% weightage to interview.The top 300 qualified students of KVPY will gain direct admission to IISc Bangalore, which is the best college in India for basic sciences.

What after the result?
After the declaration of result based on entrance test, the authority will release the final result. The final KVPY 2017 Resultswill be based on aptitude test and interview both and will get released after the completion of interview round. After the declaration of result, interviews will be held which are likely to be held between mid-January 2018 to mid February 2018. The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview by email shortly after the declaration of the result.

Candidates who wish to apply for the re-evaluation of OMR answer sheet need to pay Rs. 1,000 by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, IISc Bangalore payable at Bangalore. After the declaration of the result, the interview process will begin. The interview process is likely to begin from Mid-January and may end in Mid February 2018. Candidates need to carry some documents at the interview venue. Here we are giving list of such documents:
